Can a teenager take the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam?

The short answer

Yes, from age 13 with a parent or guardian’s consent. AWS says candidates aged 13 to 17 may take its certification exams with consent, and must be at least 13 when they schedule. A guardian sets up the process and a signed consent form must be approved first.

What is AWS’s teen testing policy?

Candidates aged 13 to 17 may take AWS exams with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The candidate must be at least 13 at the time of scheduling.

What does the process involve?

A parent or guardian sets up the account, submits a service request and returns a signed consent form that AWS must approve. On exam day a named guardian accompanies the teen with valid government ID. The process repeats for each exam.
